Google Maps Car Was Spotted in Miami

For us web geeks (yes, I claim myself to be a web geek) and when I hear about Google physically visiting the area I get the jitters.

Gus Moore from Miami Beach 411 reports that the vehicle has been sighted driving around the city.

Attention Miami motorists, be on the lookout for the Google Maps car. We spotted her mapping the streets, twice this week. She’s not hard to miss. The car is a blue Subaru Impreza, with a basketball size orb, mounted on the roof. The orb contains nine directional cameras for the 360° views and a GPS unit for positioning and laser range scanners.

Just like me he added “Don’t know why, but I get so excited when I see anything Google-related! ”
