Tips To Get More Realtors To Show Your Listing
A Realtor is an individual who wears multiple duty hats. They are responsible (but not limited to) for finding properties to sell/rent, making contacts, generating leads, working leads, closing, keeping people happy, pay bills, … well you get the point. Here are 4 MLS tips that I suggest will help increase the chances of renting or selling your listing.
Have multiple and relevant pictures of your listing
Before you show a property, wouldn’t you rather not be surprised on what you’re about to see? What’s worse than not having any pictures is having pictures of only the outside of the building. Wouldn’t you like to know if there are holes in the walls?
Do yourself the favor and save yourself the embarassment. Take pictures of the important things of the property like the floors, kitchen, bathroom, living room, etc. You don’t want to be known as a sneaky Realtor.
Utilize the Free “Request Showing” Tool
Hiring an assistant might not be affordable at the moment however did you know that you already have a free virtual assistant at your disposal? It is capable of collecting appointments for all of your listings. Make sure to take advantage of this free feature as it can email and text you all of your showing requests. It even updates your calendar automatically!
Make it OK to Advertise
As per the Realtor’s Terms and Conditions, another Realtor is not authorized to advertise your property if this option is not selected. It is our duty to expose our featured listings to as many outlets as possible, so why would you not want to have another marketing source?
Use a Lockbox
This little investment will save you so much time and it allows for your property to be viewed at any time of the day. The lock protects your key from theft and you can have your “Request Showing” tools automatically send out the combination. This makes it easy for other Realtors to show your property.
Here is one good example of a property that is taking advantage of these MLS tools.
